Here she comes... Barbie Racer!

Here is a picture of the much awaited "Barbie Princess" pinewood racer. We placed 16th place out of 22. At least we weren't last place. After the third run our barbie head popped off and apparently it was much faster after that. Last night I got a call from one of my good guy friends and apparently he wants to date my good friend. I was a little sad about it, but The girl he wants to go out with is just awesome, but he has already gone out with at least two of my other friends. Oh well. Not meant to be I guess.

The Summer 2008 Sleeping festival....

So, another semester has ended, and I am so ready to go back to sleep. I haven't slept too well lately and I am exhausted. Hooray for sleep!!! Today was a bad one, but I have hope for the future that I can go swimming tomorrow and just chill. Hopefully I won't get burned this time. Not even a tan, I just got a 2nd degree burn from sitting on a hot lawn chair. Sucky! I do have a new phrase now that I love. It is "What the random?". Thanks Tracy!!! This phrase has brought me joy. Well after my horrible day I think I will go and punch dance out my rage. Peace!!!

Awhile...

It's been awhile since I posted, cause I been busy. Look for some more posts since I have resolved to be better. And oh yeah, by the way, that picture is of me and my future husband! Love him.

I've been set up...

So for the millionth time I set up my cousin Casey with an awesome girl to no avail. I think I have finally given up on him. I wonder what is really wrong with the guys in the Church I go too. I see so many wonderful girls at my ward and yet the guys don't ask any of them out. I have enjoyed my weekend up in Utah. We found out last week that my sister is finally going to have a girl. I am really excited for her. I am just hoping that all goes well with the pregnancy and that the baby is healthy. My sister has already chosen a name, Chloe Elizabeth Carrick. I can't wait to meet her in August. :)

So freakin busy...

I am getting so tired of exams. I can't wait for break to be able to read books that I don't have too. I am hoping that my last exam went all right, but it is hard to tell. One of my sweet old friends in my home ward, I talked with her the other day and learned that she had a colonscopy at the Gastronenterology Center of Southern Nevada. As it has been laid out in the press for the last few days, she has been possibly exposed to Hepatitis C, HIV, and other communicable diseases. She is such a sweet person, and I just happened to go visit her the other day. I wish I had kept in closer touch, but as always my excuse is that I am way too busy. It reminds me that I should take time no matter what my life is like.

School time again!

I start school again tomorrow. I can't wait to get it done and over with and be another semester closer to graduation. I hope that this next one will be better than the last two. I need to make a more concerted effort in reading my text and maybe it will be better. I hope that all it will take is more reading and this semester will be less stressful.

Home Sweet Home!

I finally got home yesterday! I was so worried about my home and other things. I am glad to always spend time with my family, but it is so nice to come home to your own things, and the familiarity of home. I was in happy valley for over three weeks and I found it suprising that I didn't mind the snow so much this time. Normally I hate snow and can't wait for global warming. I guess realizing that I don't always have to be around snow helps. I was glad to make a couple of new friends and some clients while I was up there. Heaven knows that I need the clients. College has been expensive and time consuming to the point that I have not been working quite as much as before. I've decided, that I love money. I will love it even more when I am out of school and working, not struggling so hard to pay bills.
This weekend I am going back for the Breakfast with the Princesses in Provo with my niece Whitney. I am excited. She is in love with them all and it will be so cute to watch her! :)
