Party.......

We had the best time last night. We went to the ward Halloween party. I was of course a vampire, and Tracy was a fairy, and Elise was a chef. Kimmy was Laura Croft. I made the mistake of spraying my hair glitter in the bathroom and now it is everywhere, walls, floors, sink... We then went outside and did Kimmy and Tracy's hair and when we came home we noticed that the ground was very sparkly. The most creepy costume went to a polygamist. It was hilarious.

Do you know the Pumpkinman, Mr. Whitaker?

So, this little gem is from our latest rockband night yesterday. He is our Pumpkin man. We named him Mr. Whitaker because we have this retarded guy in our ward that talks smack about one of my girls in the middle of sacrament meeting. I know you can't see in this picture, but he is drooling/vomiting pumpkin guts out of his mouth. He has sunglasses for eyes and ears the size of Anna's friend Matt, although his ears are way pointier than Matt's. We had so much fun. Oh, and he also has an earring. :)

Scary how if this sheet was removed it would actually look like something decent rather than the indecent. We have been doing lower extremity venous and arterial. We still just enjoy having fun with each other. We are a group that loves to just play, where as apparently the junior group aren't very rowdy and hardly talk at all. I can only imagine how long the day would be if we weren't very friendly with each other. Other than that life is normal. My knee still bothers me some.

My big fat knee!!!!!!

I fell down tonight, and twisted my knee. 20 minutes later, it now happens to be about twice the size it was before. I hurt. I called my mom, and she told me to ice it and so the best I could do was my roommate gave me a package of frozen corn. People, it works just as well as ice.

Okay, so this is what I have to deal with on a daily basis in school, however, I do think this is Jesse's best side. And allright I took the picture so I too am complicite in this. Earlier in the day we had a streaker in class. My classmates Kurt's white butt has been forever burned into my retina. UUUggghhh!!!

That's it! I've had it! I Quit!!!

So, because I am only getting about 3 hours of work a week at my job, I decided it was time to let myself go. So, I quit today with great relief. It just wasn't worth my time, or theirs. Now they will be able to get someone who can better fill their schedule, and I can better use my time. I hope I can still be able to make money from massage. It was the only relief after a really crappy test.

Oh the places I don't go...

I just so want to be done with school so I can go on vacations with my mom and just be with her a lot more. I miss her. Seems like I've been missing her a lot more lately. I just can't wait for friday when she comes. I have to admit that it was purely selfish of me to buy her a plane ticket, but this ensured she would come. I have been busy with a lot of stuff lately, but I think I have been hit with the senioritis bug. I hope that the conference will be good, but I hear the food is crap, so I will be taking snacks and goodies. Who knows. I do get a clinic day for it. I won't be on peds rotation this week, which makes me sad, but I still enjoy doing echo's. Wish me luck for my test on tuesday. Crossing my fingers...

They won't drink my blood.

I tried to give blood last night but apparently I was too hot for them. My temp was 100.4. I am just so excited for next weekend though. My mom is coming for the pediatric heart conference. I did have my first chance yesterday to scan a baby's heart. The baby was soooo cute and had soooo much hair. I had a good time getting used to the way you scan the babies hearts. Their hearts are so fast it is hard to watch, and catch everything. I was so excited to do the scan. And when no one was looking I smelled the baby. I love the new baby smell. It's one of the great things about newborns. I love babies period. I am hoping that tomorrow goes just as well with the kids.

So sorry to hear about that Stephenie. I hope you will continue with the project and that you will all tell us more about Midnight Sun. Hopefully we will eventually hear what Edward was doing in the first part of New Moon. All the Twilighters love is being sent your way.

My Little Chlo-worm

This is a new picture of my baby neice, Chloe. She is soooo cute with the new baby smell. She was born as you can see with a full head of hair and big bliss cheeks. I am sure that she will have her mommy's blue eyes and I think she looks like her Grandma Niemann. Her older brothers have been so cute with her. They take turns picking out her outfit for the day, and hold her a lot. Also Whitney and Colin have started kindergarten. Colin's teacher is Mrs. Rojo, but he has been calling her Mrs. Hoho. I think it is cute. Patty and Wywy have started preschool and are in the same class together. I think that it is good for them to already have someone to know when they go there. I always enjoyed having Casey in the same school as me when I was growing up. He would always pick me up for the bus. I can't believe how grown up all the kids are getting. I went to Gavin's school last Friday and brought him a kids Happy Meal, and also ate lunch with him. Turns out his Principal was my assistant principal in junior high. I hope he doesn't remember me :( The world is small. I just started my clinical rotation at Sunrise hospital and I am excited to work on some pediatric cases so I can learn so much more.

I am soooo Hot!!!!

I just had the hottest day ever. I was in my car and it was getting a little overheated so I decided to turn around and go back home. When I got home I hear this big geyser like noise and saw my engine get all smokey. I finally figured out which hose was leaking, so I preceeded to get off the clamps. It was so tough I had to cut the hose off with a steak knife. Never thought about that being a valid car tool but it worked. It was so hot outside. My friend Anna came over and helped me so, we finally get in to go for a spin and I apparently had forgotten to put the radiator cap back on. OOOOOOPS!!! I thought I was being all handy, and I forgot one basic thing, basic but major. So I finally got it home after it started to heat up and realized what was wrong. Thank heavens I am real consciencous about taking care of her, my car is a girl. So, if your reading this Cathy, please don't tell Mom. She was worried enough anyway. That goes for you too Kimmy. Love you all.

Breaking Dawn

I finally finished breaking dawn last night and all I can say is WOW!!! Loved it. Sad to say that I think I am going to read it again soon just so I can retain everything. I am obsessed. It could be worse though, cause my life sort of sucks right now. I choose the happily ever after than deal with my own drama. I thought I could handle it, but I guess not. I am only human after all. I have never been one to just stand around and watch something happen, so I will just retreat from this one too. I am excited to go home next week though. And I was also very pleased to realize this past couple of days that I really do have friends that care about me and won't let me pout too long. I love you all my girlies that are sticking by me. :-D

It's all about Friday!!!

I just can't wait until Friday. I am jumping out of my skin to get my hands on the new book in the Twilight series, "Breaking Dawn". There are so many events to go to on friday. I, of course, will be wearing my Edward T-shirt. The anticipation is almost too much for me. I so want this book to end well. I will be so disappointed if it ends poorly, and by poorly I mean not the way I want it to end.

Here she comes... Barbie Racer!

Here is a picture of the much awaited "Barbie Princess" pinewood racer. We placed 16th place out of 22. At least we weren't last place. After the third run our barbie head popped off and apparently it was much faster after that. Last night I got a call from one of my good guy friends and apparently he wants to date my good friend. I was a little sad about it, but The girl he wants to go out with is just awesome, but he has already gone out with at least two of my other friends. Oh well. Not meant to be I guess.

The Summer 2008 Sleeping festival....

So, another semester has ended, and I am so ready to go back to sleep. I haven't slept too well lately and I am exhausted. Hooray for sleep!!! Today was a bad one, but I have hope for the future that I can go swimming tomorrow and just chill. Hopefully I won't get burned this time. Not even a tan, I just got a 2nd degree burn from sitting on a hot lawn chair. Sucky! I do have a new phrase now that I love. It is "What the random?". Thanks Tracy!!! This phrase has brought me joy. Well after my horrible day I think I will go and punch dance out my rage. Peace!!!

Awhile...

It's been awhile since I posted, cause I been busy. Look for some more posts since I have resolved to be better. And oh yeah, by the way, that picture is of me and my future husband! Love him.

I've been set up...

So for the millionth time I set up my cousin Casey with an awesome girl to no avail. I think I have finally given up on him. I wonder what is really wrong with the guys in the Church I go too. I see so many wonderful girls at my ward and yet the guys don't ask any of them out. I have enjoyed my weekend up in Utah. We found out last week that my sister is finally going to have a girl. I am really excited for her. I am just hoping that all goes well with the pregnancy and that the baby is healthy. My sister has already chosen a name, Chloe Elizabeth Carrick. I can't wait to meet her in August. :)

So freakin busy...

I am getting so tired of exams. I can't wait for break to be able to read books that I don't have too. I am hoping that my last exam went all right, but it is hard to tell. One of my sweet old friends in my home ward, I talked with her the other day and learned that she had a colonscopy at the Gastronenterology Center of Southern Nevada. As it has been laid out in the press for the last few days, she has been possibly exposed to Hepatitis C, HIV, and other communicable diseases. She is such a sweet person, and I just happened to go visit her the other day. I wish I had kept in closer touch, but as always my excuse is that I am way too busy. It reminds me that I should take time no matter what my life is like.

School time again!

I start school again tomorrow. I can't wait to get it done and over with and be another semester closer to graduation. I hope that this next one will be better than the last two. I need to make a more concerted effort in reading my text and maybe it will be better. I hope that all it will take is more reading and this semester will be less stressful.

Home Sweet Home!

I finally got home yesterday! I was so worried about my home and other things. I am glad to always spend time with my family, but it is so nice to come home to your own things, and the familiarity of home. I was in happy valley for over three weeks and I found it suprising that I didn't mind the snow so much this time. Normally I hate snow and can't wait for global warming. I guess realizing that I don't always have to be around snow helps. I was glad to make a couple of new friends and some clients while I was up there. Heaven knows that I need the clients. College has been expensive and time consuming to the point that I have not been working quite as much as before. I've decided, that I love money. I will love it even more when I am out of school and working, not struggling so hard to pay bills.
This weekend I am going back for the Breakfast with the Princesses in Provo with my niece Whitney. I am excited. She is in love with them all and it will be so cute to watch her! :)
